As a project of Deutsche Aidshilfe e.V., we operate as a non-profit, not for profit. Every euro flows back into better healthcare – not to shareholders or investors. Since our launch as a pilot project in Bavaria in 2018, transparency has been our guiding principle, with the goal of offering our services sustainably in service of our community, so that regular, self-determined testing for sexually transmitted infections remains simple and discreet for everyone.
Our service puts the needs of our users at the center and combines discreet, self-determined sample collection at home with professional laboratory analysis and trusted local counseling.

Non-Profit Mission Instead of Profit Maximization
To offer our services sustainably and self-sufficiently, we had to adjust our pricing structure. Previously, we were able to subsidize a large portion of the actual costs through third-party funding and grants. This funding is unfortunately no longer available to us in the same extent. Our current prices therefore reflect the actual costs for high-quality, discrimination-free healthcare without profit margins.
